“Recurrence” is an 8×10 acrylic pour that was blown around with my airbrush. These colors are a little more muted than I ordinarily go for but I wanted to see if I could make this palette work. I was also really interested in seeing the billowy and sometimes distressed look I could achieve by pushing it around with compressed air. It can be a delicate balance to know when to stop and when to keep going with a painting and when I finally came to this result, I looked down and just felt that overwhelming sense of accomplishment. I knew it was done.
